[Communication]
Apr. 18th, 2029 11:51[Nicolas' device is a black phone. It's simple with a small screen that his sharp eyes have no trouble reading when he's in good health. The device is permanently on vibrate mode unless somebody else changes it. Even if they did, he wouldn't be able to hear the ringtone or text sounds to know to silence it. Nic is only aware of receiving a call or text if he is carrying the phone on his person or it's on a surface he's in contact with to feel the vibration. He will text back, but it is highly unlikely he will answer a call since he cannot hear to communicate and reading lips through video is an imperfect art. The shape of the phone allows it to stand up on its own on any side so that Nic can video chat in sign language with the phone sitting on a flat surface.
If you're leaving a message, hopefully it's text; any voicemails will be ignored unless somebody checks Nic's phone for him. There is a generic, robotic tone that prompts the caller to leave a message after an unsuccessful call.]
